Black elder

Is it only one plant? Or few together?

Hi Klahanie. This is just the one plant, I probably should have pruned it in the Spring but never got round to it! It stands about 6-8ft tall and about 6ft across. Beside it, but not shown on the photo is a golden coloured Fir which shows it off lovely.

It looks gorgeous. I have one in the pot and it is just a stick. How old is yours?

I think it's about three years old now, not all that old really. I do have the golden cut-leaf one as well, but that's in a pot and looks quite sad, so must get that in the garden!

Looks like it likes the soil there.

I had forgotten how lovely this one is, must look into growth rate to see if it's feasible in my garden.
