Does yours suffer with blackspot Costas?
I have a new rose this year called Arthur Bell, - I bought it as a yellow, but it looks much more orangey/gold now it is blooming!! Still, it looks really nice an has a beautiful scent.

oh this is very nice, I always get blackspot on my roses, i know we are suppose to take the leaves off and burn them but have no idea how to stop it coming back because it always does!

I have tried allsorts Summerbree.
Last year I meticulously took off all the dead leaves and burned them then sprayed with fungicide at the appropriate time as instructed, but still it is back this year as bad as ever!!!
I think it is just because of where we live. It is supposed to thrive in clean air areas isn't it!!
So that is one consolation I suppose!!!

I do get black spot Shirl but not this year as yet. I have sprayed them four times already, but black spot will appear soon I am afraid. I get it every year what ever I do. I hope it wan't be very bad this time.
