I hope so Annella, says so on the label. I bought them from GWL the nursery is in Wales, they are called Penhow. It's actually D. Maritana Blue Button. I've bought from them before and they've all come through last winter:-)

Thanks Paul, I bought it last year at David Austins although I don't think it's one of theirs. I never fancied a blue rose before I saw this and it smells divine too:-))

Thank you Sandra:-) My poor Meggie is at the vets tonight on a drip, it feel awful her not being here. With any luck she will have picked up by tomorrow and we can have her home. Meg is the wiry whitest one in the pic, think she's also the oldest of the two:-(

So glad Meg is back home, and ok,Ba..great news :o) x

Thanks for your concern about Meg, she's a great grass eater and I worry that she may have been poisoned, weedkiller or such like, where I take her each day. I'll have to keep an eye on her in future:-))
30 Jun, 2013
Oh dear,I see what you mean..that is going to be difficult for you,to stop her eating grass..is that what the vet thought was wrong with her?

He thought it a possibility, without tests, it's hard to know and if we'd waited for tests she may not be here now. He treated the symptoms, belt and braces, and fortunately it worked, still on antibiotics though just in case it was an infection, but Rosie has been fit as a fiddle:-))
