Not too bad DD thanks. Gee we planted about 30 iris in his garden but the slugs had a field day and although Ken (my OH) dug neighbour's garden over, it is totally infested with horse tails which is almost impossible to eradicate.
Got a new project for some iris beds..watch this space..so they can be planted in perfect situation.
Paul, try Rosalie Figg..a rebloomer around early October when established, so you can get 2 bites of the cherry. Must have corner to themselves tho..they increase fairly rapidly. R.Figg is a beautiful purple.
