There's many varieties of Heliconia lathispatha, not sure which one this is... It's located in the Botanical Building in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA. Photo taken June 25, 2013.

Yes, they are beautiful plants. There's so many species of Heliconia. I have two species which are blooming right now.
