Markhamia lutea - Nile Tulip Tree Flowers

A close up of some of the many flowers on my large Nile Tulip tree. This tree is full of flowers with all the heat we've had lately. These flowers have an incredibly sweet fragrance. This is one of my favorite spring, summer and fall flowering trees. Photo taken July 2, 2013.

Thanks! Yes, it has some of the most beautiful yellow-golden flowers. I absolutely love the sweet scent of the flowers, also! :>)

Thanks! Yes, it's one of my favorite tree's native to equatorial Africa, the African Tulip (Spathodea campanulata) tree is the other which is native to the same area.
