We did not know why she laid in the grass like that and thought that she was hurt, we found out couple of hours later that she gave a birth to a little one.

You are right BJS. My garden is in even more danger now. But one more makes no difference :-)

Holly, about 40-50 feet from our deck. I think that the mom was born here too...just a few yards from there down the hill. Just my speculation because we have a one or 2 every year.
