Wow! It's amazing to see how much better clems do in a warmer climate! It looks fantastic!

Thanks. It was almost worth losing the Pyracantha for the beautiful Clematis. Some of the flowers are single, Karen, but most of them are double! Isn't it odd.

Goodness I have just re-read what I said!!! I didnt mean it to sound quite like that Spritz, just that its a beautiful thing and it looks better in real life. And my picture was out of focus lol!

I wish my clematis looked the same! I only had two flowers this year. I think it must be something to do with my pruning! Thanks for the beautiful picture.

Is it 'Amethyst Beauty', Avril? I've just fed all my Clems. It isn't too late to feed yours. Maybe that would help? 'A.B' is supposed to carry on flowering for some time.

I sprinkle a handful of blood, fish and bone round the base, then I water it in.
