Thank you Suey there is a story to that pot! there was a Lemon Thyme in it which looked rather sad so I decided it had to go, then I found the reason - an ants nest in the bottom of the pot! so Thyme and Acer both now happy in their pristine pots!! :o)

Thank you Karensusan I bought it for the Lemon Thyme last year - see above! but it suits the Acer I think :o)

Pot and plant are a perfect match, Neellan. Those ants are a pain, I emptied a pot of ivy out yesterday and the pot was full of them and before I knew it they were halfway up my arm :(

Thank you Gee I'm very pleased with it.....ugh the ants are horrid they swarmed over my sandals, the Lemon Thyme had a trim and now looks quite happy in a smaller pot :o)

Did you treat yourself to this from the market in Mold Neena? Haven't been there in ages... Always went for coffee and a slice of Bara Brith in a busy Bakery... Can't remember the name now...

Hi Tracey, It was from Ruthin Country market, I haven't been to Mold Market for a while either but do like the bustle of market day there.....and the bara brith - I think I know the bakery you mean....is it Gerrards? I'll have to go one Wednesday and see!!
