The geese are gathering here. Every day we see a flock of about fifty go over and yesterday when walking across the bridge down the road that spans the Derwent a huge flock flew over low and landed on the river.

Are they canadian? we've got a lot of them here too if so, they're very successful aren't they. It's a very pleasant day here, blue sky and warm, maybe summer will last a little longer:-)

Yes BA they are the Canada Geese but there are also a few of the grey geese with the pink legs.

er do they mate with the canadian?:-)

Don't think so but they were flying and swimming around together. Perhaps it was just a coincidence that they were coming in at the same time.
