y black one in the secret corner is looking quite stark now there's no clematis around it. I hope the fatshedera will eventually oblige, but I think I might go for an Ivy. I have a lovely big leaved one that would look great there...or even a little variegated one. I'm a bit scared of them, but they do look great on fencing!

I agree with Hb ... Lovely Annella... whats the dark plant in the pot to the right of the Fern, looks very dramatic

Gralew the plant is Actaea simplex it has beautiful foliage and has thrived since I moved it to this shady spot :o)

Karen I would love one of the buttercup yellow Ivies (can't remember the name) But never see them for sale :o)

I'm off to the nursery now! I think they might have a good ivy or two...and a mini hota I'm after as well.....speak later!
