It makes me say Wow every day it is amazing, just what I was hoping for too :O) I know it will only last for a few more days though especially if the heat keeps on but it has been really special this year. :O)

it did Bilbo, all done now, the heat didn't help it, it dried out so quickly on top of the arch and R.Rector was the same. Ah well always next year to look forward to. Pity it doesn't repeat bloom.

is the blue one a rose ? I never seen a blue one! fabulous !

12 Aug, 2013

Liasciubba, lol :O) strange how people see colours differently. I see purple not blue, but I know others see it as blue. Karensue and I see a red rose where others see pink, which is also strange, my husband sees colours differently to me too. To me Veilchenblau is more purple than blue but eh ho who cares as long as we all see a lovely rose eh! Thank you for looking in, I shall have to have a look on a rose website and see how they describe the colour. :O)

oh thank you for that Bilbo it is exactly like it is described then - it has streaks of white in it too. thanks for looking it up. :O)

Actually it's purple , I make mistake because of the language, remember I'm Italian, my English is lousy!

16 Aug, 2013

I just looked on Austin's site and in Italian it says: magenta in some cases bluish! As I said The language! lol

16 Aug, 2013

lol :O) I know Lia, I think you do amazingly well with the English Language, I do not know another language at all. I have not got the patience to learn one either, silly I know because it would be good to be able to speak to others in their own language. Keep on speaking and writing in English we all understand you enough to be able to write and chat to you on line. lol :O)
