I grew this trifolium for a few years Scottish, before it outgrew its welcome...it's a lovely plant isn't it!

No, it wasn't a thug, it's just quite a large clump after 3 years, and where it was....too near the back of the garden...so it went. It was at the time that I was still digging out borders etc......lol....as if I ever stop!

Jane - you are indeed correct. I've corrected the ID as I spent an age photographing them this afternoon in order to give me better images.
He is a Scottish Common Carder Bee - there is a slight difference between the Common Carder Bee around the country.
