You've been disinterested for a while but now you're very busy! Great job! I think you're a great gardener!
Looking at all your gardens on goy I feel a geat disaster in the garden, it gives problems, pine trees, stones, clay soil, in some areas no water, and no time left for working in it!
I wish some day I 'll be able to make my small garden ( it's about 300m in all but consider that there is a car trail in the center and two big beds: in the beds they are two very tall silver pines and iperico all around....agreat mess!
on the other hand I'm having success with pots on the roof garden!

Lia, it's a real skill getting the best from plants in pots, and there's time to sort your garden gradually when you have time. The pines will give you winter colour too:-))

I actually saw it today at a little garden centre but as we had already bought two clematis I didn't suggest anything else just yet!!!

What was it called Wildrose? This really is a beauty and single roses are supposed to be good for insects so guess I might just bypass perfume! BA, for perfumed roses try Chandos Beauty it is such a lovely rose. Also Daylily Grape Velvet and (Double) daylily Forever Jung. And they have just brought out a Coral Sunset delphinium. Same colour as this rose. Will post pic soon. Dont know if delph has perfume but the others have strong ones.

Now look here Tet, are you rambling again? What was what called? I'll have a look at Chandos beauty, it may be in the running if it flowers for a very long time. I do have a few perfumed daylilies, and although i admire them in others gardens, I don't really want any more .....but I could change my mind. Look forward to seeing your delph, sounds fantastic. I just bought a largish one from Morrisons, looks like it will be a pale blue one, nearly ready to flower:-)

Chris, don't tell her what it (whatever?) was called:-))

Forgot to say that flower carpet roses, especially the new ones, don't succumb to blackspot, mildew etc and there are even some perfumed ones now, I'm buying the amber one and a white, both perfumed. Another plus is they don't have to be dead headed as they are sterile and flower for ever ....German ingenuity:-))
