Yes, I've never forgotten that rose. This one looks a bit paler...but lovely!

yes Wildrose it is a lovely colour and at the side of the hot colours a calming colour.

Karen, yes I think it is a shade paler but very pretty, wonder why they have not maintained the original one.

yes, me too....did you search everywhere for it? perhaps it was disease prone? you surely didn't dig yours up...did it die?

yes Karen, Julia died think the ground where it was was much too dry and infertile so they all died - it was in the front garden which is still quite a dry place. I have to water the border there quite a lot. I have been digging today and even after all that rain we had it is bone dry in places in the garden.

Karen, I was looking for roses at Silica Lodge g.c. when I spied it, only one rose of its type in the g.c. and I just could not leave it. Pleased I bought it. There was a Whisky Mac there and I didn't get that one, wish I had, but it was a bit weak and looked like it might struggle so I left it.

Good plan...you can get whiskey mac anywhere I think.

I have no room left for any more just yet, unless I dig out some more grass (but ssshhhhhh don't let Sammie know) lol :O)
