He complains bitterly about his previous dwelling...I fear he has been traumatised.

Frogknapped? Hope the ransom isn't too high. Hope Freddy finds a Freda and they live happily ever after.

Don't tell...you'll have the conservation police after me! If I go to prison now....you'll be to blame!

I'm sure your mum will bake you a cake with a file in it Karen. Oddly enough, my mum told me to go find some at a pond somewhere, I didn't have the heart!
Olive Oil, get the oven preheated ;)
I hope he stays for your Karen, my tadpoles did leave the pond as frogs last year but never returned :(

Well, somebody told me they return to where they were born...this one has a long walk!

Karen can you remember that drake I had at the Golf club, Charlie Drake he was called and when we moved here he walked all the way back to the old cottage! We carried him all the way back to Whiteswood but the next time the fox got him, well we never saw him again, he was very determined not to live here.

I have several frogs in my garden but I have absolutely no idea where they were born. Not in my half-barrel, certainly! I see new ones every year, so it's a mystery!

I know Melchi....the daft thing is...really, if it were true, all the Frogs would be living in one pond wouldn't they? ;))

Mum, I didn't remember that...poor thing...so sad. I remember those lovely Aylesbury's. Was he one of those? He must have felt the same way as me! :)

Of course they would! I reckon mine must go somewhere else to breed, though. The only time they left frogspawn in the half-barrel it went very quickly - I think the birds must have eaten it. The nearest pond is three gardens away, but they probably go there. I always look in my little baby bath pond in the wild area, but I've never seen any frogspawn there.

'Ello, 'ello, 'ello...what's goin' on 'ere, then?

Lol! it's a fair cop!

I thought about pulling up a few slabs in the washing-line area to make a pond, but thought better.
Too many feral cats. Lol.
Besides, it'd end up with empty bottles & cans floating on the surface, bringing down the tone of the area & destroying the carefully built ambience. ;-)

Well, not if you made an effort to put your beer cans in the bin Mouldy ;))
