deep purple Iris, rebloomer..24-36 inches tall, planted in triangular bed beside stream with Jerry's Iris.

Midnight suits it very well Lori I can imagine the dark sky with the dark /purple black clouds gathering .... love it !

It's looking a little bit grotty right now...must make a note to trim it and put it by itself. Have to check the rhizome to be sure that there isn't something eating it to extinction. X-( have put it off because it's supposed to be a rebloomer.

Really deep rich bluey purple. Can you take up the rhizome/bulb and store frost free perhaps?

Was hoping to naturalize it...so I wouldn't have to fuss...but I guess if I want this one I had better coddle it a bit. Good suggestion Dorjac, thanks.
