I am pretty sure that's a Hoverfly.It's incredible how many different Hoverflies there are!

There's a hoverfly(which I thought this one was) that's black and yellow.there really are lots of Hoverflies though!

Not so many Hoverflies around this year.I usually have hundreds of the ones that look like a minute was
Hovering around my Fennel plant but virtually none this year! Another plant I had at my old garden that really brought them flocking in was a Philadelphus (mock orange)

I have both Fennel and Philadelphus too Paul :o)
