Decided to take out a large Choisya Tenata Sundance (5ft X 4ft) which left a lovely large planting area, which we have filled easily by moving plants from other parts of the garden, 2 Ribes...1 Sambucus, Escallonia Gold Ellen, several Iris, Hemerocallis and Hardy Geraniums, Aquilegia, ornamental poppy, Hen and Chicks, Euonymus and a Heuchera.....that should do the trick!!

It is amazing how much room some shrubs take up. You have got a lovely mix there. Very pretty border. :O)

Thanks Mum O and daughter K......I hate seeing any bare soil, also it gives the plants time to settle down before the winter, and the rain has helped too!!

How come you can do so much planting after the heatwave?! Our soil is SO hard, that I can hardly get a fork in . . . Looks lovely Dotty :)

Jent would love to see you, please do.
Sheila the soil is quite light and free draining on this side of the garden, which is such a blessing......looking forward to seeing it mature now.
