I am actually reducing my clematis. Some of them are not worth keeping. I've removed three already today! These lower growing vars. are definitely the best to my mind.

Super. Mum has just been to the local clematis nursery's open garden day and has come back raving about all the wonderful varieties. I didn't make it this year. I still haven't got beyond montanas - but I am determined to eventually.
