Well, my English teacher son tells me everyone quotes it wrong, so I'm in trouble again .'Alas poor Yorrick, I knew him,Horatio' !!Evidently, It should be!! But, I was never big on Shakespeare..unlike him!

Ahh...you have a scholar of the Mother Tongue! May I recommend a bit of reading for you Paul? "The Mother Tongue, English and How It Got That Way" by Bill Bryson. The title will have true English scholars shaking their heads ..but I laughed all the way thro it... ..It's anecdotal..but totally absorbing but best of all, it's fun and enlightening.

I used to love to read,Lori, but the most I can manage these days is a page or 2 at a time of my gardening magazines. I have a condition which makes concentrating very difficult.I even struggle to sit still in the same place for more than a few minutes so certainly can't concetrate on anything!

My hub and I understand exactly what you mean, Paul. What you need are some audio books and a little player with earphones. you can listen while you work. Cheers!
