Cuphea Tiny Mice

Weird flower Amy. Never seen that before! Have you got a photo of the full plant?
Is this the whole flower or are there some petals missing?

It's only one flower Shirl the others have died off now , the plant is about 1ft high ,It's not winter hardy I might try to keep it in the greenhouse without too much hope ! each flower is suppose to look like a mouse , the red petals at the top being the ears the little whiskers at the side and his mouth I'm afraid the photo wasn't very good ,the flowers still left on the plant have shrivelled up ,if it should have any more I'll try to get a better photo of the plants :o)

I fell in love with it at the Sandringham flower show Shirl I'm disappointed the flowers haven't lasted !
