..after pruning the Eucalyptus a bit, taking out a couple of rampaging clematis and inserting another evergreen shrub to clothe the fence behind the tree. Tidier now!

I just took off a couple of spindly dead bits, and a couple of outward facing branches. This one is E. Pauciflora, which tends to have all it's leaves at the top. Hopefully it will be ok. The silvery bark is lovely.

Lovely area....I did a lot of pruning too...now the light comes streaming in nicely, had two car loads to take to the recycling centre.

Thanks Michaella. My dwarf cherry bit the dust yesterday...looks a lot better without it. Gardens have to evolve.

I like that, what have you done to your Eucalyptus? we pruned our Gunnii in the Spring and the bl.... thing died!! never had that happen before......
