Oh-ho! That's why I have a plague of ants near the back deck! Makes sense! I planted it for the hummingbirds. Planted a trumpet vine on one end of the trellis/seat...Virginia creeper on the other. My vine is growing thick ..but slowly and so far no sign of a blossom. It withstood our terrible winter so I'm optimistic that I can look forward to some blossoms next year. It's a very hardy plant...just what I need! such a pretty colour too! How tall will it get, Amy?
