A baby Walter, hope Sammie hasn't seen him, she will be in tears again after leaving Walter with his Granny to look after him. He is gorgeous. Walter is such a lovely temperament so if he grows up to be like him he will be fantastic. :O)

He is supposed to be miniature...but he looks awful big to me! He's only 8 wks and he's already nearly as tall as Molly!

The first time I ever saw a Schnauzer was in the early 60s. She was a standard, completely untrimmed and exactly like you-know-who. Her name was Celeste, and I loved her. She belonged to a friend. Trimmed Schnauzers are much tidier and smarter and their heads look quite different, especially if they've got a moustache! Most owners would be horrified if their dog looked like Timmy because he was - as we all know! - a mongrel.

Interestingly, Karen, my sister had a white mini schnauzer she called "Snowy" because she (the schnauzer!) looked exactly like Tintin's dog.

Annie, the Schnauzers have a wonderful temperament. my sister has one, but he is living with Oliveoil at the moment. We'll get her to put some pics of him on for us!
