This is a cutting from the main plant ... the snail was sent to play in the road!

Sherpa the Snail ! Lol..I can't believe how few snails and slugs I have found this year..very very nice:o) must be the hot dry weather,I think..I bet they are just biding their time:o(

How healthy those leaves look in spite of your little friend!
Only recently, ours have been attacked and they are now hidden out of sight after looking really nice for much of the summer.

Lovely fresh looking colours and Im pleased you got rid of the intruder as it might have ended u with leaves like lace curtains like mine lol

Thanks all - I am so pleased I spotted the snail before it began munching the Hosta leaves! So many Hostas look shabby once the snails have found them ... :o(
