Lovely pure white scented lily. :)

The perfume is pretty powerful out there at the moment Melchi. My OH will be complaining of headaches soon...in fact my own head feels a bit thick...but then.....;)

it is so pure :O)

We've had very heavy rain this afternoon, so that's possibly the best pic I'll get of this one.

think we shall be rained off today although it is fine but very dark and hazy at the minute, fear the worst the forecast is horrendous :O(

Wow what a Beauty!!

Superb!

Absolutely beautiful! It seems to have been a good year this year for Lilies. Sadly mine have also all gone now.

What a pity, mine are still going strong, but it was so dark here this afternoon. I was out in the garden and it was like November...but warm! Weird!
30 Aug, 2013
Mine are, too.
A couple still in bud & a few yet to bud.
Like November?
How, Karen?
1 Sep, 2013
Really dark and depressing mouldy! I hate November, it is almost as awful as January! ;)
1 Sep, 2013
Whereas, I love November...wild & elemental...exhilarating with a touch of otherworldliness.
This recent weather, hereabouts, is just high winds & clouds & a token attempt to rain.
DREARY!

I shall try to appreciate November now you've described it that way! I do love bonfire night! I hate windy days, and over on this side we've had wind and very dark grey cloud....:((
1 Sep, 2013
Full moon, wind scudding the clouds across the sky, rain lashing, trees thrashing.
Blimey, I'm getting the bus home from the pub, this November! ;-)
2 Sep, 2013
Get me on a plane! :)
3 Sep, 2013
Strangely, Karen, your lily has a similar name to one of mine, but mine is 'Casablanca'...a deep red with almost black markings.
I've only just this moment saw that.
Should've gone to specsavers! ;-)
4 Sep, 2013
Isn't that strange! Oh well.
5 Sep, 2013
Blimey, curb your excitement, Karen! Lol.
9 Sep, 2013
I've had my meds today.....there's no excitement once they hit the brain!
9 Sep, 2013
Meds are supposed to make you feel better.
What went wrong? ;-)
9 Sep, 2013
No, they don't Mouldy...they just calm you down! Not that I've ever had any tbh....I prefer the talking therapy to the pill popping therapy any day!
9 Sep, 2013
...actually, I find that in most cases a large helping of carbs and fat does the job! ;)
9 Sep, 2013
Carbs & fats are chemicals, so I've never saw why they wouldn't affect mood.
Food is an effective ameliorant.
Want a rise, promotion, a holiday?
Ask the boss, after lunch. ;-)
9 Sep, 2013
It certainly is....some people go off food when they are stressed....I find it a most useful drug!
9 Sep, 2013
I can't eat properly for days, if I'm upset.
Stress?
A whole different kettle of fish, unless you're a strict vegetarian.
9 Sep, 2013
Yes, that's it Mouldy...it's 'upset' puts me off food, not stress. Grief is what takes away my appetite. Strict vegetarian...I see what you did there ;)
9 Sep, 2013
I'm a pun rocker. ;-)
