COLUTEA

COLUTEA

Oh yes I think mine looks like this one as suggested by Andrewr.
Found this on internet, under;- File:Daniel Fuchs.CC-BY-SA.Colutea arborescens.jpg.
The flowers look like little faces don't they!!

How lovely! I've never even heard of it! Was it a present from the birds Shirl...or did you just forget you bought it....like I would have probably done were it not for this site!

A present from the birds Karensusan! They provide quite a few of my plants these days.
If I find something growing in the garden that looks promising, I just let it grow on until I can decide whether it is worth nurturing!!
I've had a few in that way!
Sometimes I pot them up or sometimes let them stay where they are - - depending!!!

I used to enjoy popping the pods of this plant when I was much younger. They go off with quite a bang! My freebies this year, were a giant puff ball( now on the compost heap) & a plant which turned out to be Lovage & will soon be dug up. I've not seen any growing around here at all but it might have come courtesy of wood pigeons which often waddle about down there.
