Peacock Butterflies and a Comma Butterfly

Some great butterfly photo's this year,aren't there?I love them all :o) I hadn't heard or seen this Buddleija,till you posted photo's Neellan..it really is lovely :o)

Thanks Bloomer, it is a lovely one unfortunately the bush is really tall as I haven't cut it back for a few years (on my to do list) plus it is at the top of my steep bank so getting a close up is tricky! I agree some great butterfly pictures this year :o)

I see what you mean ,Neellan..can you leave it till later in the year,when it's dying down? It might be easier to chop it to a lower level,till spring,if you have difficulty reaching up to it..I do mine that way in Autumn,,then a good chop in Spring..good luck...PM later today sometime :o) x

Hi Bloomer thanks - My to do list is a "sometime when appropriate......if I remember" sort of list!! I intend to do it in the Autumn but I do normally cut Buddleija's back in the spring, I may take some cuttings of it now though to plant somewhere more accessible! :o)
