I love golden raintrees, especially the late flowering varieties! I've had this for 2-3 years and it only seems to get wider without getting taller.

I never do see this at nurseries any more but I know there are other late flowering golden rain trees. Japanese beetles were a problem last year, most of the flowers were eaten off before they could open. I treated it with a systemic and a spray this year and it helped. Nice to have flowers this late in the season on anything, I can't wait to see what it looks like full grown.
