I forgot to note all the plants that I photographed while we were at the Southeast Botanical Gardens.

This shrub is called Calliandra haematocephala - Powder Puff. They are widely grown here in San Diego, CA. and bloom in late fall through early spring.

As opposed to the Bottle Brush (common name) plant this I think is known as the "Scubbing Brush plant"!! Saw it on the island of Grenada
