Subtle late summer colours.

This border is slightly more subdued than the other more colourful border on the other side of my front garden.more, subtle, shades of yellow and green with the odd splash of white.All the mauves, purples, and blues(Various Clematis plus Acanthus and Teasels) are finished for another year!

I like to see the changing colours of autumn and think this bed looks really attractive - sometimes lots of colour is just not needed.

And the border on the other side is hotter and brighter.I like to keep ths side predominantly yellows,whites and blues (including mauves and even purples)

grand colour spectrum.....easy on the eyes as strong colours selected well can be.... (white is the balance)

Your border looks lush & verdant, considering the excessive heat & shortage of rain you've had throughout the summer in your neck of the woods, mate!

No shortage of rain here now though Mouldy.Yes, Clematis all over for a couple weeks now but they were very early starting too!

Yes, I remember that wall/fence of your's being absolutely smothered in them!
I almost gave up at that point, as mine were barely leaved. Lol.
