Bought this for the knock down price of £3. It was looking a bit sad and lost a few blooms, but with a bit of heat and plenty of water it bounced back.

Thanks!
It was Delonix who made me aware of their need for water.

It was rather SL! I like bargains that work out. Got a Paphiopedilum for two quid last week.

Oooh, that is lovely! I have a (common) clerodendrum trichotomum var fargesii Keith. It's been in and out of pots and ground and now it's in a pot ready for my new south facing garden when we move. I have high hopes for it! But this flower is stunning!

Has yours suckered Karen? That is a lovely garden shrub/tree!

No Keith, it hasn't had the port unity, it's still only a baby, which is just as well as it's been moved so much! Hopefully it will survive this latest journey!

Heard that they're difficult to kill!

Good! It came as a half standard, but didn't grow at the top at all, so I dug it out again, potted it up and cut it hard back. in summer it started shooting up from near the base and now it is back to the height it was when bought, so I'm glad I didn't chuck it!
