Bought this for the knock down price of £3. It was looking a bit sad and lost a few blooms, but with a bit of heat and plenty of water it bounced back.

Very gentle. Not on a par with my Stephanotis by a long way, but it is seriously floriforous!

I love the colour & shape of the flowers Meanie...

Lovely shape, I like those glossy leaves too.

Thanks Moti!
Sticki - I think that the glossier the leaves the more tropical they are sadly.

Well rescued there , Meanie ; it always imparts a feeling of satisfaction , saving a plant from the bin !
It's looking very happy now ( can almost hear it purring)!

That's incredible! I Love it!
You should try Clerodendrum incisum - Musical Note Plant. It's also an incredible plant/shrub.

I'd love to, but cannot find one over here!

If you can find seeds on the internet it would most likely be easy to germinate.

That will be the way to go...................

My friend here in San Diego (who's on GoY) only very rarely, has one. I don't think it's ever set any seed pods here, though. I'll have to ask him.

I've only ever had five or six seeds from my C.ugandense in four years - some of them seem very picky about the correct pollinator?
24 Sep, 2013
Luckily, C. ugandense grows best from cuttings. I do know of this plant producing copious amounts of seed here in California.
Sometimes it's the plant or the conditions why some plants/shrubs/trees don't produce seed.
