Imagine my surprise when I pulled a few of my Autumn King carrots and this one was amongst them!!Strange.I know wild carrots used to be white but I don't know what happened here.Earlier in the summer, 2 of my beet root were white as well.maybe something to do with the soil??? Although, never happened before!!

I had wondered if it was lack of light as I hadn't thinned all the rows out and they were a bit crowded with foliage. But, I can't really see that would do it!! strange.....very strange!

I thought that about stray seeds Snoop but I had a couple of Beetroot like it earlier in the summer too!
My early carrots ' resistafly' were also excellent and untouched by fly but. I covered my Autumn King up as I know the fly will get to them otherwise! But, like yours, most of mine are still small. And the Parsnips are even smaller!!!
