What a colouring, quite spectacular, designer conscious little cricket! I have grown the pale creamy yellow ones never seen this colour, from Champion?

Fantastic!

I think it's called "Champion", Resi. I planted three last year but I moved them all in the spring, so, they're late to flower...and I can't remember which is which lol!

But, the only other contender is, "Monde des Rose", and this is definitely not pink!

It's quite spectacular, Mel, it has red and green variegated leaves too.

I've come to the conclusion that these little green critters are colour-blind...what with tree-frogs trying to be invisible on red cars and grass-hopper here, thinking he's camouflaged! :)

Spectacular flower, K.The colours remind me of those fruit salad chews we ate as children!

in the thumbnail, I thought it could only be a tulip...but of course I knew it couldn't be a tulip! Really flash isn't it! Would be great in a tropical border.

I know just what you mean, J! It's the way the two colours come together, too, isn't it? :)

Yes! And these get to stay in the "stop the watering" scheme of things, Karen :)
Shame I dug up bucket loads of them, when I first moved in...live and learn, lol

What colour, and a little grasshopper likes it too.

Death-wish...or starvation-wish, Bloomer. He thinks he's hiding, ready to catch all those littler critters! And I really need him to do a better job...

Obviously, he wasn't listening when Confucius, he say, "Glasshopper, you are gleen, rike the reaves, beware the led brooms"
("Kung Fu", TV series, 19oatcake, all rights reserved) :))

Definitely bright, SL! And really welcome in my poor, already had it, garden :)))

Yes! that's just what he's like, in his flower, Katarina! :)
(But, ssh! We don't mention harlequins around here...they are beetles which are now happily decimating my brussell's sprouts! €25 euros for the spray today!!! lol)

It's quite something, isn't it, Linda? One of my better market buys, I think. Glass-hopper came free, lol :)
