Parthenocissus quinquefolia (Virginia Creeper) 2

I love virginia creeper but not been very successful with it.

These plants are lovely when they change it their autumn colours.

Thanks Suey, I've found they take many years to establish and then there's no stopping them.

The redness is quite stunning isnt it Helenium. Thanks Meadowland, glad you like the weather vane, I like it when he's facing south, lol.

Lovely Dawn........, I was just admiring that weather vane to, Suzanne had one made for Rob at the place she used to work of old father time, him being a big cricketer, trouble is its so windy here it keeps flying off !!!!! Robs got to figure out a way to fix it enough so it stays on but still moves in the wind a bit heavy if it flys off and hits someone.

Thanks Kathy. My Mum had this weather vane made for us one Christmas. Ours has never flown off, lol but John did grease it as it didnt move around readily. This one is a whopper though, wrought iron, when its down its chest height.

It's lovely , yes ours it quite large, trust us to live on top of a hill in the windiest spot possible !!!!!

Suzanne's a good girl thinking her Dad would love a weather vane. Oh yes, forgot you were in a windy spot. Bet you always get your washing dried, lol. Be careful, you wouldnt want the weather vane landing on you.

Funny really, because I'm in a low spot, so get the frost and flooding and undried washing, lol. x
