Nice for dinner if you fancied one Lori. They are over here in our streams and rivers. Larger than our native crayfish. They go after our much smaller black natives and they die. The river authorities try to catch them and they make a tasty dish apparently. I think, as well they carry some organism that also affects our species but not them......Oh dear, another introduced species that does not fit in well. Good job so many of the floral introductions do littl harm!

when I was much younger there was a television commercial which said: "It's not nice to fool with Mother Nature!" I would imagine that they would taste muddy...not my idea of dinner, Dorjac! Not even tempted but I understand that they clean up organic debris.
