At the moment it doesn't look that good but when the little rambler - Malvern Hills - gets going over it (hopefully) it will look better. I just hope it is ok when it is covered in pretty roses.

lol :O) now you are definitely like your mum xxx there are some lovely trellis pieces already made up, I like the ones which go diagonally, you will have to have a good look - job to do - research on line. That will keep you occupied for a few hours. lol :O)

I so, so, so, so love this photo of yours! Very nice. The seating are looks fancy as does the trellised off bit and you are right...it will look nice when your Malvern Hills starts to grow. I have a Pale Yellow one and it grows prufusely and seems to do so when I 'dead-head' it.

Screens like this add so much interest to a garden. Lovely!

thanks Melchi, I thought it was maybe a bit bare just now but it will be ok once the rose has started to ramble. Well hopefully it will.

Oh, I'm sure it will, Barbara, as does everything in your garden.

I like the ones with oval shapes in them....you know what I mean. Chris is making some for Glamis. I can just see that at the cottage....the ovals giving views to the rest of the garden.

Oops, you've already got something! Sorry! Clever the way you've made it into an arch with trellis. Now you've given me an idea. The front of the cottage is south facing so very sunny, and a nice crazy paving patio there in good condition, so I want to have a container garden there and one of my tables and chairs, but also want to create a see through screen to separate it from rest of garden. I was thinking pergola, but I think trellis might be nice too. :)) see, that's how you get design ideas! :))
