I have one that's just starting to flower to love them when the light catches them.
I grew a lovely grass last year Dawn from RHS seed, hairy melic grass,it's been lovely all year and still going strong must take a picture to show you, or maybe you have it ?

Hi Kathy. I grew these from seed, I'd forgotten they flowered late, loving them.

Thanks, more luck than judgement ;-) It's the hawthorn hedge behind. So many berries this year, thanks to a good summer.

I am very fond of grasses, have never grown any from seed, too impatient lol

Clever you Dawn I bought mine, did it take long to get to flowering size I've never grown any of the bigger grasses from seed, just put a picture of the melic grass on for you :-),
Some are really quick to grow Dd you should give it a go :-) the melic grass I've just put a picture on of is only in its second year from seed ;-)

Hi Kathy, soon got to flowering size, grew them 2 to 3 years ago, the flowers have been better this year though, quick growing.

Is this the same as the pic. I put on yesterday of the M. Nepalensis Dawn ? it looks to have the same golden tassels , lovely aren't they !
