I can see the ?. This year seems to be making up at the end for all that we missed early in the year. Everything seems slower. I wonder if this is how it is going to be in future. I could swear we never had rain in the 1940's and fifties during the summer.

Sheila - would you believe that 2 other clematis I haven't seen for years has appeared! Only foliage mind you - the mind is boggled!!
I hardly remember rain in summer in my childhood either but then I wonder if that's selective.

Signs of a happy childhood lol. The clematis are the funniest plants. I have ones which disappeared then reappeared later. I was not sure if it was the original plant or a seedling but it was definitely the same named variety.

You should see it now. I'll post a pic tomorrow, the flowers are growing of round the back of the shed into the shade, strange!
