Sumach red...

I love these autumn colours but not the winter to come afterwards !

We've had rain and that brings the colour to a halt...sadly.
Brrrr....I really, really don't want to think about winter yet. The leaves are now down and walks in the bush are "swishy"...lol. the air is tangy from the leaf aroma...I love autumn because I can work outdoors without being bitten by mosquitoes, blackflies and horseflies. Last year I accomplished a lot of digging and cleanup in October and November...and I'm doing the same this year. Will have to post a pic of my walnut harvest!
