So do I, I had two of them but one of them died after last winter. I have never seen this variety for sale but everyone asks me about it. I got this from the trial gardens of a nursery I worked for. The leaves on this one changed a couple weeks ago but haven't changed on my Alice, Snow Queen, Snowflake, Little Honey or Sikes Dwarf Hydrangea. The colorful leaves last forever on oakleaf hydrangeas, I have had leaves still on the plant as late as December.

I love the autumnal colour too. Any idea how tall this might grow Rkwright?

This is a medium sized Oakleaf so probably about 6 feet tall. It can be kept shorter by cutting it back and it will sucker and spread but not aggressively.

It's awesome, if you like oakleaf hydrangea then it is a good one. It is just about as compact as Sikes Dwarf so no worries about it swelling up like 'Alice' or 'Snowflake'.
