That is a fantastic planting combo. The aster and the rudbeckia really bring out the best in one another.

Thanks Moti, the Rudbekkia is the very small one which I planted last year, it has been hardy, and I thought they were having me on. Hope it keeps coming, it is rather a sweet one.

You don't get blighted with mildew on your asters then Mum? btw...went past the cottage today and there was a removal van outside!! They are leaving us their wooden swing seat...well chuffed with that!

We do some years Karen, but it is a bit like the blackspot on the roses, I just ignore it. lol. This year is not one of the bad ones for them. Think it is because we have been so dry. After saying that it has just started to rain. But I have finished outside for today so that is good. Been lopping a pine and tidying up the top part of the garden. Cut all the grass too and hoping that is the last time today. Bet I am wrong on that one though. lol.
Chuffed you are getting a swing seat, that is good. I love them. Sounds like things are going along just as you would wish them to. :O)

Well, it would be good if our buyer would conclude...but he is the same as us. mortgage company slow to process papers.

They are hopeless, never rush the bankers, they are too laid back. Unless of course it is to rip us off lol :O)
