Medinilla cummingii - Malaysian Orchid Flower Spike

Makes a fair houseplant in the UK. I presume that yours is outdoors?

Yes, my plant has never been grown indoors (the air is too dry indoors). It needs to be grown in semi-shade, though (no full sun or it'll burn up). It's under my shade structure in the front yard. I've killed two plants in the past; however, I've had this one for 14 years.
