Here is a close up of the flowers. Little clumps of pink and yellow slippers. Its is really a lovely little things, but the seed heads are long and tough looking, I may be propagating an invasive, which i should not do. I'm guessing it is controllable so far. I took the seeds.

Oh, thank you Karen! Seems happy on the bank and there are six more a little lower down. Its foliage is bluish and very lacey, I guess would be the word, which is what attracted me before I even saw the flowers!
Thank you Janeplant and Gorgeousma. I'm glad it plopped into the garden unannounced....lol. I love many weeds but don't want to spread something like this when it is not a native. It would surely win over local flora.

Yes, I was very attracted to it when I came across it too! I hope our seeds germinate!

Thank you Meanie! The first year garden, I let all the weeds get to first leaves so I could identify them before deciding to keep or remove. This one was special from the start. I'm hoping they spread.

It's common name is rock harlequin, so I'm guessing it needs excellent drainage. It will probably spread around, but could anything this lovely ever be a problem? :))
