Ah! I thought it might be a pond!
We have a pond which we have cleaned out this summer because it had got really horrible & green & dirty!!
Now it is all clean and refilled and we have 5 new fish which I hope will grow & multiply!
Years ago we had about 40 fish which had grown from the five we had in the beginning, but gradually over the years they disappeared. Some died naturally, some were killed by the heron and some were caught by the cat we had at that time!!
Then the pond grew old & smelly and even the weed died so we decided it must be completely cleaned out which is what we did this year.
We also have some frogs & some newts.(These we moved into a childrens' paddling pool filled with water & they seem to have survived o.k.!!)
