Poor Henry - he isn't allowed to chase around any more. He has arthritis in his left front leg and has a bad limp. He's still as lovely and loveable as ever, though. :-))

He is loved, Jane - everybody says what a gorgeous dog he is.

He loves all sorts of fruit, Dd, he picks blackberries when we go out. lol.

The only food our lab would not eat was cucumber!!

True, but he spits out parsnip and mushrooms too. He loves any other fresh vegetables raw or cooked, and any fruit as well... typical Labrador, really. :-)) He hoovers up any bits we drop in the kitchen. Very useful!

He follows me into the garden when I go to feed the birds, in case anything falls off the bird table. Honestly - you'd think he was a poor starved animal! :-Z

Ah poor lad, I know the feeling my back is still not happy after the concrete fest 2 weeks ago! It will be sorrier still after I've been to Sunderland next weekend.

Well, at least your back will get better...poor Henry's leg won't. :-(((((
