This is how I think the Pot I mapped earlier will look in Spring. I changed the original to grayscale and added coloured photos of what should be there in spring.

I'm hoping so. I would be disappointed if it still looks bare in a few months.

Lovely to look forward to. I wonder if some of my little dwarf irises would survive in my sink? I think I will give it a go :)

I would Gee. I think they definitely do need to be in very well drained soil/compost with lots of grit in it. I am having some success with them since I stopped planting them in the garden and put them in pots. Thank you again for your advice on using Powerpoint.

That's blooming clever, Sg...and Gee. I never remember where I've put anything...until it's been there for a couple of years.

I have started mapping the raised alpine bed we built last year. I do not seem to have a decent photo of the whole area so I am doing it in bits. It will take forever. I should have done it when I planted it but at least as plants flower and I am able to id them I can be more positive about what is in there. When we visited Bjs in Bristol he showed me how he mapped his alpine troughs using A4 sheets of paper then laminated them. I am not good at coming up with such original ideas.

It should look nice with the miniature Narcissi in between the alpines.
