Closer look at the beautiful colour and flower

Beautiful. Are they still blooming?

yes Klahanie this photo was taken this afternoon in the garden. All of the pictures I have posted today are from the garden this afternoon. We have not had a frost here yet, which is pretty amazing as usually the foilage has gone by now. Not complaining though. Leaves still on the trees as well. All helping to pass on the dampest month of the year so far. :O)))

November is also the dampest month on Vancouver Island. But my nerines were mostly gone when we left at end of October. Your garden still looks beautiful Oliveoil.

Thank you all very much, beginning to clear away the debris now as it is dying back slowly. Lots to do hope for some nice sunny days, even if colder, I do not mind working out there as long as the sun shines for me. lol. :O)

I love nerines. mine are still going strong as well. I find it fascinating when the flowers start forming and get excited when the first one opens. It's just a shame they don't flower for longer.

I like how they are in flower as late as this in the season. Tried them once before but they never flowered, this is my first flower they are in pots and in the sunshine which I have learned they need and good drainage so hence why I put them in pots as our clay soil retains the water rather too well for them in the borders. Thanks for looking in Lijemc :O)

I haven't any of these Barbara, but our local garden centre has them in flower. I think I must get some now ! They are so lovely !

It was lovely Mouldy, hope it comes back it is such an amazing colour late on in the season. Fingers crossed.

yes I have one that colour too, they are so bright they make you want to wear sunglasses. :O)

I'm still undecided about whether to plant it in the garden, or leave it in the planter, 'til next year.
Decisions, decisions, eh?

I planted mine out in one of the borders. It was very tiny when I planted it up, houseplant size. When I looked the following spring it had two different colours one bright pink, (fuschia pink) and a more red shade on another part. I had to investigate and found that what the g.c. had done was plant three small plants in one pot and that was why they looked like two different colours on same plant. The trickery of g.c. to make plants look bigger than they are. I have left it to its own devices and it has survived even if the two colours clash somewhat.

Clash, compliment, depends how you see it. Lol.
